nice, france accommodation

What is an inexpensive, quiet and clean place to stay near the promenade des anglais in October, 2012?

Etap. One block in, but it's high and the building between it and the Med is low, so you can see the water (if you get a south-facing room) for seventy-five bucks a night.

Amy, You could also have a look at Hotel Suisse, which is at one end of the Promenade des Anglais. Depending on which room you get, you may get a view looking down the Promenade. Opening the curtains in the morning and watching the sun rise over the water and Promenade is wonderful! The Hotel is VERY comfortable, and the staff are great. It's also an easy walk to all the restaurants and shops in the "old town". Happy travels!

Hi Amy, not sure what your budget is but we liked the Hotel le Royal and had a room overlooking the water and the Promenade.

Nice Garden Hotel. I have not stayed here yet, but plan to soon.
