NFL in southern France?

Traveling to a Avignon for just a week. I'd like to be able to watch the Seattle Seahawks game the Sunday I am there. I understand the French probably aren't into the NFL, but is anyone aware if there might be a way to view the game live over there? It will start at about 10PM local time, so I doubt any local sports events would conflict (i.e. tie up all the TVs in the bar). Looking forward to my trip and leaving my iphone at home for a week, but would love to still be able to catch the Seahawks game!

I could be mistaken, but I think the only way you can see NFL games live on the internet is by buying "NFL Sunday Ticket Online and Mobile" from Direct TV. And you have to live in an area where you can't get Direct TV service on your TV. But you'll be able to get game replays and highlights without much problem. There isn't much that the NFL gives away for free.

Depending on your cable service where you are staying but have seen ESPN I and II fairly frequently with games. Look for a sports bar. You could be surprised at the following for US football.

Yea, I have Sunday Ticket so I can watch any game I want, I can upgrade it to Sunday Ticket "max" so that I can stream to phone if on wifi. But that might be a hassle. Was just curious if anyone happened to know if there's any chain of sports bars or the like that might have the package and show the games over there. I highly doubt it, but figured I'd throw it out there.

Direct TV satellite television is available only in the US and Latin America, not in Europe. But you can console yourself with the fact that the Seahawks don't have to face the Bears this year. At least not during the regular season!

Tom- Good one! I still have nightmares over that Robbie Gould kick in OT a few years ago. We are playing the Jags at home the week I am gone, so, if there's any victory that should be "easy" in the NFL, that would be it. Knock on wood.

This doesn't pertain directly to Chris's question, but when we were in Germany a few falls ago, one of the local channels had on the "Monday Night Football Game" - on Tuesday night (because of the time difference)!
