Anyone have any great ideas for new years eve in Paris? We are staying on Rue Clare and would like to end at Eifel tower so we are close to home.

I don't recommend being at the Eiffel tower personally. I was there a few years ago and it was chaos with young men throwing lit firecrackers at all the girls to make them scream and jump. Yes, let's risk setting someone on fire or leaving them scarred for life! What a kick! Also, when the tower lit up at midnight it was just like it did at 10:00pm and 11:00pm etc. every other night. I would find a good club to hang out in if it were me.
