New bullet train Frankfurt to the French Riviera (in 5 hours)

Following the success of the bullet trains between Frankfurt and Paris and Munich and Paris starting December 2011 DB and SNCF introduce new double-decker TGV bullet train service between Frankfurt and Marseille. The train stops at Mannheim (for Heidelberg tourists), Karlsruhe (for Baden-Baden and the Black Forrest), Freiburg in Breisgau (heart of the Black Forrest), Dijon and Lyon. Total journey time from Frankfurt to Marseille is just 5 hours! One-way tickets are expected to sell from €39.
