I'm in Munich for 3 days and I can spare 1 day for a bus tour. But I'm unsure which one to pick. Any feedback from those who have done the visits below? - Berchtesgaden and Eagle's Nest Day Tour - Royal Castles of Neuschwanstein and Linderhof Day Tour thanks, Marlene

I've been to all of those places, but never on a 3rd party, profit-added tour. Of the two, I would say the Neuschwanstein/Linderhof one because it is closer to Munich - you'll spent less time traveling and more time seeing - even though I'm a great fan of Berchtesgaden.

You don't say what time of year you will be in Munich. You can't get to the Eagle's Nest once the snows close the road, which is sometime in October. We really enjoyed Berchtesgaden and the surrounding area but I'd have to agree that your best bet is the Neuschwanstein and Linderhof tour.
