I see on the website for the castles that one can buy "reduced tickets" for a cheaper price, but I cannot find what one must do or have to get this reduced ticket. Does anyone know? Thank you.
I think that the counter price at the Hohenschwangau ticket kiosk is about the lowest price you will find for individual tickets. You might get a slightly lower group price for both castles together, but that is it. Bavaria does have a castle, garden, and Lake pass for two weeks of visiting castles. I used it in 2007 and paid €20 (now €24) for a two week pass to all of the Castle, Gardens, and Lakes in Bavaria. With it I visited Linderhof, Nürnberg castle, the Marienberg and Residenz in Würzburg, and Burghausen. But you need to visit a few castles to make it pay. Neuschwanstein is included, but Hohenschwangau is not,
Thank you so much! I was a bit confused.
