I'm visiting in February. I heard there is construction on the castle. Anyone confirm this as fact?

There's scaffolding on a portion of the exterior (mostly the northern and western faces), but the castle is still open. The famous view from the Marienbrücke is relatively unaffected, as is the view looking at the entrance from the east. PS- At any given time, a significant portion of European landmarks will undergo some degree of restoration work.
