Hello all, We were hoping to catch the 2 castle tours on Saturday April 27th then head to Munich to possibly catch the Munich/Freiburg game around 3pm. Questions.... What duration would you suggest spending at the two castles? We are hoping to stay very nearby and get a 9am tour reserved in advance. How if possible would you recommend getting tickets to the game? I searched viagogo but it appears (I'm guessing) that it might be sold out. This will be our only chance to catch a game and we were really hoping to go. We will have a car to drive from castles to Munich, FYI.

If you want to get to a 2:30 game in north Munich at 2:30, I would think just Neuschwanstein will be it. If you get a 9 am res, get to the parking lot by 8 so you can take the 15 min hike (up hill all the way) in time for your res. By the time you are back to your car you can decide about the other, smaller castle, which may be 1 hour at most. As in the other thread on B-M, keep checking viagogo.
