Hi i am new in the community but i would appriciate a little help,i am planning to visit in april reaching vienna and then going to venice, rome and paris and then returning from vienna.10 days visit. 1-i need to ask for the mode of transportation for the said visit?
please help
...and as people always say, 10 days is not enough for 4 places - Rome needs at least 4 days, as does Paris, and Venice is good for 2-3, Vienna 2-3 - Paris is sooo far away, why not visit Salzburg or Florence?...trains are a great way to get around - frequent, not too crazy expensive...(the slower regional trains are cheaper). Although if you do decide Rome to Paris - look at flying - you will lose so much time on a train...
It sounds like you already have round trip air tickets to Vienna. If not, when you make the reservations, fly into Vienna and home from Paris. If you already have tickets, I would advise finding out the cost of changing the return flight to depart from Paris rather than Vienna. As to travel within the trip, train travel from Vienna to Venice is at least 7 hours, from Venice to Rome around 3+ hours, and over 11 hours from Venice to Paris. If it were me, I would fly Vienna to Venice and Rome to Paris and train from Venice to Rome.
