My friend and I will be arriving about an hour and a half apart from each other in Barcelona. I am not sure what terminals we will fly into. I am flying United, she is on American. Neither of us has ever traveled internationally before. Can anyone who has flied into Barcelona before suggest an easy, convenient meeting place for us inside the airport?? Like a restaurant or something. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If your flight is international, you will virtually certainly be flying into Terminal A. At the Barcelona airport, however, that doesn't really matter all that much as all passengers are dumped into the same area after collecting their baggage and passing customs (if relevant). Probably the easiest meeting place would be Botero's huge horse (http://tinyurl.com/6ftvhu). The bronze sculpture stands almost 10 feet high and is easily visible from most of the arrivals area. If you get lost, ask just about anybody where the "caballo" (horse) is. For bonus points, and to while away the time between arrivals, you can try and differentiate this piece from all of Botero's other work, and wonder why he gets paid so much for his "art".
