I just tried Hotel Welcome and it's all booked up! I am traveling solo and need two nights and just want a quick easy access to beach and sights without spending every cent I have.
Any ideas? I looked at Rick Steve and other hotel reviews which are mixed. I plan on sightseeing mostly-room just needs to be basic. THANKS!

Try Hotel de la Darse. I have stayed there and can recommend it. Great location, not expensive.

It's already booked but it looked like it would have been perfect. Thanks for the suggestion. I am taking my chances in a the Hotel La Flore which was recommended by Rick Steve. I just hope my "budget" room has a window in it! Can't tell by the pictures.
I have made a note about your hotel however and thanks again for the help!

Dawn - I stayed at the Hotel des Provinces in 2006 and it was just fine. Rick no longer recommends it in his book which could mean a lot of things. It may have gone downhill or just have new owners but just thought I'd mention it.
