I am traveling with 2 others (all around 35 yrs old) and are flying into Prague on Sep 1 and out of Zurich on Sep 12. I am trying to figure out the best itinerary for this trip and could use some suggestions. I could also use some tips on the best transportation methods and sleeping arrangements to best maximize my time and also not spend a fortune. Thank you!

Since you are flying into Prague and it is one of Europe's fabulous cities, I would recommend staying there three nights. That is if you arrive in the morning; if not, perhaps 4 nights. From there, I would suggest choosing two or the following: Vienna, Salzburg, Munich, Berner Oberland. Train to Zurich the evening prior to leaving.
