I have been home a month now and guess I looked so forward to the trip (18 months planning) I was even depressed when it was over. Still have not unpacked completely but things are better. Anyway the trip was wonderful. Battlebus tours (2) were awesome. Normandy was so inspirational to me. Then on for the R/S tour and what a great 2 weeks in Germany, Austria, and Swiss. Only two days of light rain at the start and the rest of the tour was so beautiful. Can't say enough about Rick's tours and just had so much fun. Got to see the Oktoberfest Parade in Munich that kicked of 09 Oktoberfest. If anyone ever gets the chance to be there on opening weekend that parade is a must. Just unbelievable. Seven hours in a tent @ Oktoberfest was also unbelievable, I think, as I may have forgotten some of the things. HA! All my debit and credit cards worked and just had a wonderful time.

Sounds like you had a great time. It is hard to come back.. But do what we did - start planning your next trip. It's the only cure I know for the travel bug!

I'm glad you had such a good time. I know that after my first trip 3 years ago I caught the "Europe Bug" and I have been twice since then. Now I'm working on Italy for next year!
