Reservations were made for me at NH Belvedere Hotel.
Has anyone stayed there and how is it. Also I arrive by train in the evening and will only have one full day in Vienna. Would it be worthwill to see the Castle Belvedere? I was in Vienna 2 years ago and saw the Zoo, the area near the opera house. I love botanical gardens. What can I see in one full day?

Virginia, I did not stay at this hotel when I was in Vienna, but I did look at the reviews on TripAdvisor.com. It got mostly favorable reviews. Only one day in Vienna is not enough timebut you know that. I would suggest you check out St. Stephen's Cathedral. Take the elevator to the top for an outstanding view of Vienna. Back on the ground, walk around the cathedral's neighborhood. Also, I enjoyed walking in the Stadtpark with its famous gilded staue of Strauss. This park is small, but there are many statues and lots of trees, bushes and flowers.
