Must see and do in Berlin

Off the Unter den Linden there is the museum core, which includes the Pergammon- which must be seen. The Berlin Cathedral is impressive from outside (we didnt enter). There is a TV tower in eastern Berlin near those places. Boats ply River Spee and go past places like the Reichstag.The downtown area near Zoo station is very different bcuz it combines the awful reminder of the Kaiser Wilhelm Church (destroyed but whose ruins remain to show the horror of war) with department stores and modern glitz.

For me it would be the museum and Pottsdam. There are lots of other things, but those would be my top sites for a short visit.

The Jewish Memorial - walk amongst the pathways and suddenly you are immersed into a silence that represents what has been lost.
