As part of our tour of Paris we are getting a museum pass. It was my understanding that children under 18 do not need it for any of the museums on the pass. Is this true? We were hoping it was and that we could convince the tour company to put theirs in our name so we could use it for our days after our tour. They are saying that is not true that some museums only have a discounted rate for kids.
Can someone advise which is correct? Thank you.
Well, go on Paris Museum website and look at list of musuems and attractions that are included,, google it. I know the Cluny( Medievel Musuem) Louvre, Rodin, and Orsay are all free for under 18 yr olds, as I have taken my kids to them,, but it is possible there are small private museums that are not free. I wouldn't hassle tour company about the passes, they have no pictures on them so you could use the kids ones as long as they are not validated,, the passes start working the day you use them, so just don't use them when on the tour. Kids do need a ticket in some places, but they are given free,, and kids still get to line skip( where that option is given, its not everywhere) with parents who have passes
Thanks that is what I thought but wanted to make sure. From looking at the website I think every place we are going is covered by the under 18 free. Thank you for your help.
