What do you recommend for the time of entry for the Neues and the Pergamon museums?We will be there Sept 24 and 25,2013.We would like to see both on the same day.I am not sure how long each museum takes to see their main exhibits?Do we really need an entry time that time of year?They must have some available same day?

Just came back from Berlin. Both places were very busy, and from what I understand, they let in 400 people per hour. Went to the Pergamon first, shortly after they opened and spent about an hour and a half, as it was quite warm inside and that drove me outside. You might want 2 hours, if it is cooler. Spent a bit longer at the Neues, as their exhibits interested a bit more and it was cooler than the Pergamon. Could have gone to one of the other museums, but was museumed out for the day. Once you get in, you can stay as long as you want. Berlin is busy all year long, not just in the summer.
