Museum advance tickets with strike?

In early December a couple of years ago, there were no lines early and late. It did not seem that paying for advanced tickets was worth it. You could buy tickets early and just use them later in the day or possibly on another day. Not sure how busy it might be over late Dec but I suspect that it will be take several days for the crowds to pick back up.

If the trains have one of their periodical strikes, then there should be very small crowds.
