Hello I read some of the thoughts for someone in June when there were limited hotels open. By using tripadvisor, I have decided between Hotel Bellevue and Hotel Jungfrau. Thoughts on best one?

Most places should be open in June; it is May that is really quiet. Our base in Mürren is Chalet Fontana, but every time we go we make a point of having dinner at Hotel Bellevue. The food is wonderful. On clear evenings the views from the dining room are nice; on a cold rainy night the Stübliis nice and cozy. Food is gourmet quality in both. I have never seen the rooms, but the location, high up in the village, should provide great views from the rooms. I cannot comment on Hotel Jungfrau as I have no experience there.

Murren is a really small town and very awesome. When we visited we couldn't really tell a lot of difference with the hotels. We stayed at the Blumental Hotel from the Rick book and it was nice and suited us just fine. On a different note, there was a restaurant in town that had horse on the menu. When I travel I'm all about trying local food and different things, I'm very adventurous. However, I found out my limit is horse, lol. I couldn't do it.

We have stayed at the Hotel Bellevue on 2 different trips. Both times the hotel was excellent, and the owners very accomodating. Their restaurant is also very good. They also have the only laundromat in town.
