Has anyone stayed at both locations? We are trying to decide where to stay for our 25th Anniversary and would like it to be special without the price of Eiger Hotel. We tried to get into Chalet Max, but never could get a reply.

You could also try Hotel Alpina in Murren. Get a room with the view of the alps. The hotel is located on the cliffs--awesome! My daughter and I enjoyed our stay there. Have fun!

We always have dinner at the Bellevue when we are staying in Mürren. The food is very good, and the staff hospitable. It's a nice location, up high. I have never seen the guest rooms, however.
