Munich: walking tour, cooking class, or a walking food tour?

Hello RS friends! I'll be heading to Munich this September for a very quick visit. I arrive on a Saturday (around 1PM) and that afternoon is my only free evening. Sunday I'll join friends at Oktoberfest, and then I leave Monday morning. I'd like to use Saturday afternoon to see the city, but am having a hard time finding a walking tour, cooking class or a walking culinary tour (which would be the ideal combination of tour/food, my favorites!) that starts after 4PM on Saturday. Most tours start earlier in the day. I'll be traveling solo so I'd prefer to not book a private tour because of costs. Any recommendations, or guides? Thanks friends! Mary

Have you checked Trip Advisor to see if any of the 40 some tours listed there offer a culinary tour? Sandemanns is a pub tour, so lots of booze and not much else. You get what you pay for with them. The German Finanzamt is after them and they have court cases lined up for all kinds of illegal activity. You can find a better tour company than theirs.
