Does anyone know how far of a drive it is from Munich to Interlaken. My husband would like to go into Switzerland on our 10 day trip to Germany and i am just trying to figure out if this is too far off our intinary. Thanks, Linda

It's about 450 kilometers (280 miles) and should take 5 hours or so. Check out www.viamichelin.com for maps, complete driving instructions, and even estimated toll and fuel costs. Their route has the added benefit of taking you thru Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein.
