Has anyone stayed at this hotel - is it close to the City Center?

The Sheraton website shows it as 2.23 miles from the city center. There are other Sheratons in the same general area, too, so probably other hotels as well. I'd say it's pretty central.

We stayed at Sheraton Arabellapark May 1 - May 5. It is a 20 minute or so underground ride to city center. The trains run so frequently, smoothly and efficiently that I really don't know how long it takes. Not long.
Arabellapark is the last stop on the U4. Change trains at Odeonsplatz and take the U6 to Marienplatz (City Center).
If you are arriving in Munich by train at Hauptbahnhof, watch for, and follow, the signs to U4. Buy your tickets (another post), validate and get on the train heading your way.
If arriving by plane, take the S8 to Karlsplatz and switch to the U4 to Arabellapark.
The hotel is a short walk. We arrived in a driving rain storm but found the hotel quickly.
