Munich Hotel: Kings 1st Class, Blauer Bock or Platzl?

My wife and I will be staying in Munich this summer with our children (14-23 years old) for three nights. While we're budget conscious we do like to like the amenities of comfortable hotel. Has anyone had experiences with the following the King's 1st Class, Blauer Bock, or Platzl, and if so what would you recommend? Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

We stayed at the Blauer Bock last summer with two kids in a room for four. It is in a great location near Viktualien Markt. Breakfast was very good and the staff was nice. They have an elevator. We had a room on the street and there was some street noise in the middle of the night when a club closed. We would stay there again but ask for a room in the back if it was summer and we needed to sleep with the windows open.

We stayed in the Platzl in March 2007. Absolutely splendid hotel! I posted a review and several pictures on tripadvisor. It was located around the MarienPlatz and close to the Viktualienmarkt. The Hofbrauhaus was at the back of the hotel as was the Hard Rock Cafe. I think this must be where the noisier cheaper Platzl rooms are located. The breakfast buffet was fit for a king and was the largest spread of top-notch breakfast foods I have ever seen. Fantastic location and nice people at the front desk. The hotel has been refurbished recently.

We booked the hotel through a German travel website and got a much better rate than through the hotel
directly.

Unfortunately the website is in German and I don't do very well at all in any language other than English. However, I emailed the people at Hotelkatalog24, told them of my language barrier and they cheerfully did all of the booking for me via email and fax. Great people to deal with.
