Munich for 2 Nights in May

Cheryl, We have stayed at Hotel Europaischer directly across from the Hauptbanhof twice and plan to stay there on future visits. It has a wonderful hot and cold breakfast, early bird booking on their website (www.heh.de, look for British flag in upper right corner to change to English), clean well equipped rooms, very nice and accomdating staff that speak English and we felt very safe. Another plus was that we could eat cheap dinners across the street at the train station and have a variety of choice. Since you are across the street from the train station you are of course right there at both U and S bahn stops, the trams are on one corner and you are within walking distance to both Karlsplatz and Marienplatz. There is also a pizza place on the corner of the hotel that two coworkers ate at before our first trip there and said it was good. Let me know if you have any other questions.
