I assume (seeing how Munich's weather has been very good lately) that their famous beer gardens are up and pouring in full gear now?

Outdoor seating has been available in the area where I live for weeks. I don't live near Munich, but I've been there before during an April that was much cooler than this year. Everything was open.

The weather has been fantastic in all of Germany since the middle of March and all through April. It has been running around 23-28° lately. As much as we love the sun and the beautiful spring we have just experienced, the lack of rain is a bit worrying to the farmers.

Jo -- they can have ours! Seattle's been miserable, even for itself. April (and so far, most of May) has been pretty wet and unusually cold :(

Chicago's weather has been even worst but at least we're not swimming like the southern section of the US.

All that talk about the great weather makes me worried - because if it sooo nice this early in the year I'm sure by the time I get to Germany in June the rain will be pouring and my dreams of enjoying a Biergarten in Muenster with "Altbierbowle" will drowned ...
