I am going to be there for 2 days in late March, has anybody been that time of year?
The weather history shows highs generally in the 40s and lows in the 30s, which is of course subject to change...What activities would you recommend?

We're talking the Alps, mountain weather and higher elevations are a factor, in March. Have you been to the Alps before in March? What activities are you thinking about?
Unless you're a die-hard skier and you don't mind less than ideal skiing conditions, late March is a pretty lousy time to visit. Otherwise, you'll be able to walk to and from Gimmelwald along the paved road, watch the businesses shut down for the shoulder season, and that's about all.
