Moving to Germany!

It has a nice church and some neat water. My wife has always said I should have enjoyed it more but she did better there. You are very close to Nuernberg, a lovely place, and one of our favourite places, Regensburg with its centuries old sausage kitchen next to the old bridge. Valhalla is just down the river. Passau a little further, and when you get leave Salzburg isn't a million miles away. Wish it were me.

I have not been to that town, but if you're a beer lover (like me!) there is a nice brewery called Spezial in Bamberg that brews quality beer. Prost! I am jealous!

Bamberg is also close to Wuerzburg, with it's Marienberg fortress and to Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Another place you might enjoy is Bad Mergentheim with the Deutschordensmuseum (an old castle once belonging to the Teutonic Knights, now a museum).
