moulin rouge or lido

Even I am a woman, I loved Moulin Rouge.The area around Moulin Rouge is cool, a lot of bars, clubs and prostitutes. :)
I haven't been to Lido yet.

I haven't been to either of those but did go to the Paradis Latin show and dinner in the Latin Quarter and LOVED it! It was expensive and I debated going but was really glad I did. The food, the service, the show - all were wonderful. There was some almost-nudity but it was very well handled - not tacky at all. Have fun whichever one you choose.

When we were in Paris , we went by the Moulin Rouge and the only people in line were Japanese businessmen. But do go to the area at night. IT was safe and clean .THe sex shops were a hoot.We are a couple of middle aged ladies and had agood time taking pictures.

I've lived in Paris twice and vacation there often, my son and I went to the Moulin Rouge in '05 and really enjoyed it. I wouldn't recommend the dinner though, not worth the extra $$. Haven't been to the Lido on the Champs Elysees, but the last time this question was asked a French woman living in Paris wrote in that the Lido is classier, and that Parisians will take friends to the Lido but not to the Moulin Rouge.
