Moselkern vs Moselkern KD?

I am trying to book a train from Moselkern to Frankfurt Main. I have two train station options Moselkern and Moselkern KD. What is the difference? or what does the KD stand for? Also, as a US citizen can I actually book a ticket online or do I have to call to book a ticket? I don't remember if it's Spain or Germany that did not let you book online.

Moselkern is the station; Moselkern KD is the K-D boat dock in Moselkern. If you put in Moselkern KD, and expand the connection, it will give you the train connections to Moselkern Bahnhof and the walking time from the Bahnhof to the K-D dock.

I had a feeling you'd know what that meant. Thanks Lee.

If you put in some start, like Cochem (Mosel or Bahnhof) to Moselkern KD, you'll get some connections. Expend a connection and it will give one link of the connection as Moselkern Bahnhof to Moselkern KD. At the bottom of the expanded connection is an icon for "map". If you click on the map icon it it will show you a map of where you walk for 15 min to get to the K-D dock. Sometimes the list will give exactly the same place in different terms, like Cochem Bahnhof and Cochem (Mosel) or Muenchen Hauptbahnhof and Muenchen Hbf. Other times the list has a lot of similarly named places, like Zell am See, Zell am Ziller, Zell a.Main, or Zell (Mosel) Brücke (bridge) or Zell (Mosel) Grundschule (elementary school)-both are bus stops.

"Lindenplatz, Zell (Mosel)" is in town. I don't know where Grundschule is. When I went there, I skipped Lindenplatz and continued on to Brücke. I got a great picture of the river and the town hugging the cliffs, but had to walk a km or so back to the town.
