We will be traveling from StGoar/Bacarach area to Rothenbug Would like to take a tour of a winery or just a scenic drive thru Mosel Valley Looking for suggestions

Well, the Mosel is in the opposite direction of Rothenburg OdT but I would recommend an overnight there anyway, it's very lovely. I don't know if I'd try to do the Mosel valley and then drive to Rothenburg on the same day, you won't have a lot of time at either place. With a car you have a ton of options for wineries. Very convenient is the Winegut Rademacher in Cochem, which is the main tourist hub city of the area.
