I'm going to be staying in Paris for 3 weeks this May-June, and want to go to the Louvre many times: is there a longer or cheaper pass than buying three 6 days Museum Passes? I don't need access to all the Museums. Also, has anyone been to any of the old movie houses in Paris, that play the old American movies? And do you recommend one?
Thanks!
According to the official website, if you are under 30 there is a Carte Louvre Jeunes for €30 which gives you free unlimited entry for one year.
Thanks, I saw the under 30 membership - but I just turned 30 so that doesn't work. I did see the friends of the Louvre one, and yes, the office is there next to Starbucks, I just saw it in November. I'll try that, as well as the US based one.
Thanks!
There is an individual membership into the Société des Amis du Louvre available for 60€. I'm not sure how it works if you are living in the US, though. They offer options of purchasing membership online or mailing it in, but payment is supposed to be by Carte Bancaire online and check by mail. Hopefully someone else will have BTDT And be able to walk you through it.
