Hell,
We have a family of 5 - 2 adults and 3 kids (16, 14 and 11). We want to have a convenient location. We are staying the last week in June.
Thanks in advance to all

Do you intend to stay on the Mont or on the mainland? If on the Mont... well, everything is pretty much packed together, so as far as a "convenient location", they are all convenient.
We have a car so we are flexible. We will be arriving late afternoon and have no problems getting up early the next day. My fear is most places are sold out already. Thanks
I don't have Rick's France book on me, but he lists just about all the hotels on the Mont- they're pretty much all interchangeable, and rather small. Although staying on the Mont is an unforgettable experience- its an over-crowded gaggle of noisy tourists by day, but a serenely majestic wonderland at night- with 5 people, you would probably have to reserve two rooms. Larger options probably exist on the mainland, but I don't know too much about them.
I would recommend the following hotel. I have stayed here twice and have been very pleased.
By the way the grocery store on the right as you enter the causeway is your best food option
We stayed (4 of us) at Le St. Michel Ridel on the island. They have a quad room that was very affordable. We loved staying on the island and the kids loved climbing all over the ramparts after dinner. They have a web site, but no email. You'll have to call or fax. The room was clean and compact.
