Mont Saint Michel tides

I am staying on the island overnight on July 2nd. It seems on the tidal charts that there are no tides listed until July 7th. What exactly does this mean? It says on the dates where there is no information written ( July 1st through the 7th) there is no change between low and high tide. Just wondering what to expect. Thank you Carol

I don't know what tables you're using, but there are two types of tides: spring and neap. Springs have the highest differential; neaps much less to almost none. Water doesn't reach the Mont during neaps.

I'm guessing Carol is using the tables from this link: http://www.ot-montsaintmichel.com/en/maree-montsaintmichel-july2013.htm Carol, I had the same question. We're staying overnight on July 13th. That date is listed on the table with high water times and heights, but the next day (July 14th) is not listed at all. I'm assuming that means if we want to witness the tide swings, we better do it on the 13th, because the next morning we wouldn't see anything.
