Hello there planning a trip to my Wife's families place in Spain in Brulada ( Sp) its near Pamplona, we will have free rent for a month but how much should I try to save up for spending cash. We will be participating in the San Fermin Festival. I have a modest living so this is kind of a "Bucket List trip if you know what I mean" I'm looking for guidance. I know alot happens in year, got money saved for air travel for July 2012. We also will travel around Spain alittle as well, beaches, mountains, etc. Looking for help, thank you all. JT

Lots of vague there, but I generally feel that you can get a lot accomplished for quite a bit under $100/day. Food, for example, can be had for $20/day/person, if you're into picnicking, especially at grocery stores. Alcohol will crush that estimate, as will lots of paid transportation (walking is free), or pay-to-view sights (many churches/museums are free in europe). I hope this helps.
