Your post in unclear, please clarify. If I understand, you are in Germany now, and you have a US style debit card? There shouldn't be any problem using it at just about any ATM. Have you tried yet?

You should have no problem using your debit card at an ATM for cash. It is generally recommended that you NOT use your debit card for purchases.

I also do not understand your question. Just about any magnetic strip debit card will work in an ATM. Occasionally a card won't work in a particular machine, keep trying until you find one that works. You shouldn't be using a debit card for purchases, but even if you did, they will usually work except for automated machines. If this doesn't answer your question, you'll need to respond with more clarity.
