mistake in reservation caught Hotel will not respond..help please

made reservation via email with Hotel le Mouton Blanc realized the dates are wrong ....contacted Hotel with correction they have failed to respond after several attempts to hear from them.. what should I do ...realize I can if it comes to it contact credit card company but that is last resort as I want to stay in the hotel thanks for any help

when I get no resolution via email I always call. Sometimes the person on the other end acts surprised to actually hear a voice with a name attached. Email is so "out of sight out of mind", but calling reminds people that there is a "real person" attached to that email ;-) Sometimes calling is required because there's no other solution...as when I just called the Chateux Versailles about group booking because no one was answering my emails. The lady on the phone said the only way to book groups is to call. Yep, calling still works.

Have you called? Do that. They may not realize you need a response.

Calling seems to be the least used method of communication by Americans planning European holidays...but sometimes it's the most effective.

Karen don't panic,, how long aboutdid you contact them ,, its not unheard of them to take a few days, it was a holiday weekend and perhaps their english speaking staff had time off,, you may hear from them soon. Also check they didn't respond and your computer sent it to junk .
