Minimum time for D-Day touring from Paris?

Does anyone know of a good one-day guided tour from Paris to the D-Day sites (including at least the American Cemetary and Pointe du Hoc)?

Susan, Touring the Normandy beaches on a day trip from Paris is not the best idea. These tend to provide only a short glimpse of a few locations, and much of the time is spent in travel. The suggestion made by Conor in the previous reply would be a good one to consider. Victory is only one of a number of tour companies in that area. If you want names of some of the others, post another note. Cheers!

leaving from paris on a bus to normandy for a one day tour is expensive and not time worthy. I did a one day tour and while spending more time there is better, like myself i am sure you only have to much time. this is what i would recommend because it is what i did. take the early train 7am to bayeux. From there you walk 5 minutes to the meeting point for the tour. I went with Victory tours. http://lignerolles.homestead.com/Why-Victory-Tours.html it was great and affordable. you will get to the cemetary and du Hoc and also Utah and Omaha. If there is time he will show you some other things as well. you will even stop for lunch after the tour you are brought back to the train station and from there you catch the 630pm train and back in time for a nice dinner
