I would like to visit a mineral spa in Germany similar to the one in Baden Baden; however, I will not be in that area. Any suggestions for spas near Munich, Garmisch, Rothenburg or Bacharach. I will be in these 4 towns and hope have an experience similar to the 16 step ritual at Baden Baden. Thanks.

Bad Dürkheim or Bad Kreuznach are two that come to mind within an hour or so drive of Bacharach.

I havent been there for a while, but Bad Ems is near Koblenz. Also Wiesbaden which is an attractive town in its own right

Bad Homburg is a classic and the town has some great sites to see itself, and as mentioned already, Wiesbaden. Both have gorgeous baths and spas.
