We are flying into Milan for a ski trip in Zermatt. Any suggestions on:1. take a bus or cab to the train station in Milan-3 people w/skis & luggage 2. recommended train trip to Zermatt? 3. Any other suggestions about this trip? Thanks

Two routes by train. The quickest is 3.5hrs. Milano/Centrale to Visp, change trains in Visp, Visp to Zermatt. Second route is similar but the train change is in Brig. The journey is 18 minutes longer. I'm not aware that a bus makes this run.

With skis you are better off with the bus to Milano Centrale, assuming it has a luggage compartment below.
