In May 2012 while in Paris I purchased a micro sim card for my iPad 3. It worked great everywhere I went. I still have the sim card but the info with it says it expires after 1 year. Can I take it back to a phone store and have it recharged so that it will work again when I return in August? Brenda

Generally if a SIM has expired it cannot be revived. You may just need to buy a new one. But you can try the old SIM first.

Thanks. That's what I suspect too, but I'll give it a try. Seems such a waste for companies not to reuse chips that are already available.
