We will be staying 1 block from the St Paul Metro stop and need to get to Gare St Lazare for a 0650 train to Rouen. We would prefer not to change metro trains @ Chatelet since we will traveling with luggage and it is very crowded at that stop. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It'd probably be easier to catch Line 1 at St Paul and switch to Line 13 at Champs Elysees. There's not much walking at Champs and the destination dump is fairly close to the connecting tunnel. Both Opera and Concorde have a good bit of walking on the change, but certainly not as much as Chatelet.

Thanks for all the suggestions and the map. We will probably take the Line 1 to Line 13 to avoid the extra walking with luggage.

I also need to travel from Marais (st Paul metro) to the train station. how much time will that take? We are traveling on a Sat morning before 9 AM

It will take no more than 20 minutes, including time to make one transfer.
