I understand about using the individual tickets that come 10 to a book for the Metro. However, may these same tickets be used for the buses? I will need a new ticket if I leave the Metro and then catch a bus or is there a way to request or get a transfer in the station? Thank you
Each t+ ticket in a carnet is good anywhere the Metro goes (some lines end in zone 3) and on the RER in zone 1 (all of central Paris). Each ticket provides unlimited transfers until you exit the system. Each ticket provides bus transfers up to 90 minutes after boarding the first bus. However, you cannot transfer between Metro/RER and bus on a single ticket.
Yes, you use the same tickets from the carnet that you do for the metro. Unfortunately, you can't use the ticket from a just-completed metro ride to transfer to the bus, nor is there any provision for acquiring a transfer ticket otherwise. However, you can use the same ticket to transfer between two buses.
thank you very much for the clarification. We are getting excited have been planning trip for six months now we leave 10/03 for three weeks in France
