WE ARE THINKING OF GOING ON A TOUR TO METEORA . HOW DO YOU GET TO THE MONASTARIES? BY LOOKING AT THE PICTURES IT LOOKS LIKE IT WOULD BE VERY VERY DIFFICULT. DO YOU REALLY HAVE TO CLIMB ALL THOSE STEPS AND IS IT SAFE?

You might get more replies if you did not type in capital letters which in "computer speak" is like yelling. Some regulars on this web site just do not read them. Happy travels

Yes,, folks here might get a little crazy at the all caps thing, BUT: I just googled "meteora" and it filled in "meteora monateries" as a first choice without my typing any more letters. Looks like there are TONS of on-line resources! Example: http://www.sacred-destinations.com/greece/meteora That being said - I hope our wonderful posters here ignore the ALL CAPS thing and reply. I have gotten amazing information and guidance on this site.
