Meeting place in Charles DeGaulle Airport

We are flying from Greece to CDG and meeting our daughter who is flying there from Canada. Is there an obvious meeting place that our daughter can wait for us at? It's her first trip to Europe and she's nervous that she won't be able to find us...She is flying with ZoomAirlines and we are flying Olympic-Air... Thanks!

You don't say what terminal you arrive at, but since this is your daughter's first visit, I suggest you find her, instead. Flying Zoom, she'll arrive at terminal 3, a small terminal and easy to find people. She'll be bussed from the plane to the arrivals area. When she clears customs, etc., she should walk out the front doors and turn right. She'll pass the entrance to the departure check-in area. Have her enter there and take a seat near the front windows. The Info desk is close to the front doors, so if you don't spot her right away, you can have her paged. There aren't any shops or restaurants there, but better that than her groping around T1 or T2 looking for you. And T3 is only a 5 minute walk to the RER-Bus station for a train into Paris. Another option would be for her to take the 5 minute walk from T-3 to the RER-Bus station (known as Roissypole)....just follow the crowds. Just before she enters the RER station, she'll see an IBIS hotel to the left. She could wait in their comfortable reception area or bar. In an emergency, you could call their front reception at 01-4919-1919 and have her paged. In either case, if you're coming in from T1 or T2, you can get to Roissypole aboard the new CDGVal light rail system.
