Hi. For those of you that have travelled southern Portugal, we are going to 5 countries in 5 weeks (mainly Portugal, Spain, a little France & Italy and Croatia) so as you can see, we are sticking to the waterfronts and the Med! So my question is, in Portugal, we are flying into Lisbon this May and moving down the coast. Has anyone gone to western Alentejo and where are your favorite spots on the west coast?? We are going by car until we reach Faro and then its bus and rail to the other countries. Where besides Salema would you recommend for us to visit along the west and southern coast? We want to go to the Parque Costa Vicentina. If you've been there, do you recommended it? We are active and are looking for swimming, surfing, hiking, body surfing, snorkeling, windsurfing, scuba..any water sports. Any ideas would be welcome. Thanks!
