I am 55 and Soon I am to retire from a large international company while at the same time I become eligible for Medicare. (I am on disability.) Within 1 to 7 years I want to sell my house in the USA and move to the Netherlands where I bought a house a couple of years ago. Should I choose my companies insurance with medicare as supplemental or vice versa?
Medicare does not cover care rendered outside the U.S.
And when you become a resident of the Netherlands, you'll have to be covered with a licensed Dutch health insurer for your obligatory "basic insurance" (Basisverzekering):

I think the information on this website will be better though, as it is in English...

You may get quotes for expat medical insurance policies:

To answer your question, choose your employers insurance with Medicare as secondary. Medicare will cease to pay when you move. As to whether the required insurance in the Netherlands will be primary later on, I don't know.
