Hi all,
We'll be staying in the Mayrhofen area for a couple of nights this fall and will have a car. Although we've been to the Tirol many times, it's our first time in this area... any suggestions or anything not to miss?

From Mayrhofen take the Ahorn cable car and then walk up to the Edel Hut for lunch. Fantastic views. You can either take the lift back down or walk down via the Alpenrose Hut. The Zillertal is fairly narrow and you really need to get above the valley floor to get the best views.
