Marais question

I have seen pictures of a walkway that is arched and looks gorgeous. i know it's in Marais but where? and what is it called. Someone will know what this is. When I googled Marais it is there in the pictures but no name. Help. Thanks

You aren't talking about the Promenade Plantee are you?

Sounds like the Promenade Plantee, I agree. It isn't in the Marais, though, but on the opposite side of the Place de la Bastille. It's a former railway line that got converted into an elevated park when it was replaced by the underground RER. (The station at the end was where the Bastille Opera House is now.)

Are the arches stone? Are you talking about Place des Vosges in the Marais? It is a square with arched passages all around the interior.

It's got to be Vosges since they're really neat from underneath (Cordoba-like). Plantee is just the viaduct arches with a bunch of shops filling them up.

Yes. That's it. It was the walkway that ...yes it does look like a cobra. Thanks. I didn't know what it was called & had just seen pictures of it when looking at apartments in Marais. Your the best detectives! :-)
