Marais arrondisement reasonable hotel rooms

Interested in exploring this arrondisement and staying there. Could anyone recommend a few for me to research?

In September we stayed at Hotel du Loiret. Clean, reasonably priced and a good breakfast (extra). The fellows at the front desk were all very helpful and friendly. The Marais is a great, central area to stay in. Lots to see and do within walking distance.

I don't know how many nights you are planning, but I have had a good experience with a small rental agency in the Marais called "Jeu de Clefs" : http://www.jeudeclefs.com/marais-quarter-stay_125.html Ask Mme Feron about the new studio she just added near the Picasso Museum - it doesn't have a link yet on the website, so no photos unfortunately. Their apartments are reasonably priced and require only a 3 nights minimum. I'm starting to prefer apartments, over tiny budget hotel rooms... often, what I spend extra I gain back with savings on food, drinks, wi-fi, etc..

We've stayed twice at Hotel Jeanne d'Arc (http://www.hoteljeannedarc.com/) in the Marais. The rooms are very small but we like the location and the price! The staff let us know in advance about a transportation strike and helped us make a plan to get to the airport for our flight home in plenty of time.

Check out the Hotel Castex. Their website gives a detailed and accurate depiction of the rooms and the hotel itself. We have stayed there a couple of times, and enjoyed the hotel, its location, and the staff. The only drawback is that the rooms are small, but they are attractive and comfortable.

Hi Jackie,
We spent 6 days at Villa du Beaumarchais last June. The breakfast buffet is extra, but well worth the cost. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, not very large- i think we had one of less expensive rooms.

My experience was from a number of years ago, but if it hasn't changed, I can second the recommendation of the Hotel Castex.
